Some tattoos are built slowly — the way real love is

Some tattoos are built slowly — the way real love is.
This heart-shaped locket and bees piece belongs to Katie. A fellow cancer momma, and one of the most generous, steady, and loving humans I know.
We’ve worked on this tattoo over the last two years, letting it unfold as memories surfaced and life shifted. The locket holds space for her husband. The bees stand for her family — connection, devotion, and the quiet work of loving fiercely every day.
This wasn’t just a tattoo. It was a collaboration of tenderness, trust, and remembering what matters most.
Honored to carry pieces of someone’s family story with this much care.
