Same tattoo.
Three moments in time.

✨ Photo 3: Freshly finished

Tattoo healing isn’t instant — it happens in stages, and each phase can look very different. That’s completely normal.

For the first few days after your appointment, I use a medical-grade second skin bandage, usually worn for about 3 days. It helps protect the tattoo, keeps the area clean, and supports smoother healing while your skin does its job. During this time, the tattoo might look dark, shiny, cloudy, or uneven — that’s all part of the process.

As the bandage comes off and healing continues, the tattoo will go through changes: light flaking, dullness, or temporary fading. This doesn’t mean anything is wrong. It’s your skin rebuilding itself and settling the pigment.

This is where simplicity really matters.

Thoughtful spacing, clean structure, and intentional color choices tend to heal better and age more beautifully. Tattoos designed with the healing process in mind usually stay clearer, more readable, and more stable long-term.

The healed photo is always the goal. That’s what I plan for from the start — not just how it looks on day one, but how it lives in your skin over time.

Healing tells the real story ✨

If you ever have questions during your healing process, I’m always happy to guide you — you’re never on your own with it.
