I will never stop SCREAMING about safety in tattooing. Why?! Because bad shit can happen with insufficient training of tattoo artists.

Nearly anyone can buy tattoo products online now a days- but the kicker. Most self taught artist don’t know about the cross contamination practices that protect clients. These photos are adverse events resulting in infections believed to be related to poor sanitation practices. Stuff happens, clients mess up, incidents happen, it’s skin. However as a tattoo artist we have an ethical responsibility to our clients to try to protect them as best as we can. We can do that by being up to date on sanitation.

The education for artists is accessible and is out there. This is personally what I do to protect my clients and taking the class annually is a perfect reminder of sanitation practices to ensure clients are protected. @aptinc
